SYXX is private software with one operator. These terms describe what it does, what it will not do, and who is responsible for it.
What SYXX is
SYXX is a command-line tool run by one person on their own computer. It publishes videos that person made to social accounts that same person owns, and reads back the public performance of those posts. It is not offered to the public, there is no sign-up, and no fee is charged.
Acceptable use
The operator agrees to use SYXX only in ways permitted by each connected platform, including their developer terms and community guidelines. Specifically:
- Only content the operator created or holds the rights to is uploaded.
- Only accounts the operator personally owns are connected.
- Nothing is posted without the operator approving that specific item first.
- No automated interaction with other people’s accounts, including follows, likes, comments and messages.
- No attempt to work around a platform’s rate limits, review process or published API terms.
Platform terms come first
Where anything here conflicts with the terms of a connected platform, the platform’s terms win. SYXX uses each platform’s official API and is bound by the rules attached to it.
SYXX is independent software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, YouTube, Google or any other platform it connects to.
Account security
Access tokens stay on the operator’s computer. Keeping that computer secure, and revoking access if it is lost, is the operator’s responsibility. Revocation is available in each platform’s own settings and takes effect immediately.
Availability
There is no uptime commitment. SYXX runs only while the operator runs it, and a platform can change or withdraw its API at any time, which may stop parts of the tool from working.
No warranty
SYXX is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. The operator accepts the risk of using it, including the possibility that an upload fails, a scheduled post does not appear, or reported figures are incomplete because a platform did not return them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the author of SYXX is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, including lost reach, lost revenue, or action taken by a platform against a connected account.
Changes
These terms may change as the tool changes. The date at the top reflects the current version.
